History:
Checkpoint Welding was established in 1980 after it’s beginning in 1978 as “Dean’s Welding” by the current President of the business today. The business has grown considerably throughout the years. Checkpoint Welding transpired from a single-man operation working out of a garage in a Richfield home to a sizable establishment consisting of multiple entities located in North Minneapolis. The welding and fabrication industry has changed greatly since Checkpoint Welding’s incorporation with innovation and technological advancement in machinery and equipment that have transformed the industry entirely. Throughout the trade changing developments that Checkpoint Welding has endured, we have maintained our status as a pioneer and leader in the welding and fabrication industry. As technology and methodology in the industry have evolved, Checkpoint Welding has maintained the strong values and ethical business practices that are present in a family owned and operated business.
